A New Season

I plan on rolling the trails later today. Feel free to ski, classic or skate.

  1. Is there still going to be access from Kent Rd. or is this discouraged?

  2. I have no answer, but I do know that trek to Kingswood is not an option for me. Will have to take my chances with the Bishop speedway...

  3. I would strongly recommend starting at Kingswood. We are working on a different starting spot off Bishop Dr but that isn't ready yet.

Grooming/rolling update - because of water laying on some of the trails it limited what I could do. Kingswood is done. Main loop in the woodlot but there are wet sections on just about every rd. Kent Rd is not done.

  5. Hi, Is Kingswood/Woodlot tracked for classic, or just rolled? Rock skis still required? Thanks.

  6. Just rolled, though go ahead and classic. Rock skis are definitely a good idea.

  8. Just got back from Kingswood and the Woodlot. Conditions are soft, with 3-5 cm of new snow on-top of the rolled surface. Our intrepid groomers were out there rolling again as I left however, so it should be better this evening. Wax warm (VR45 or 50) for classic, of better yet, take waxless skis. Definitely still rock-ski conditions on the Kingswood side and connector. Open water on the #2 trail in the Woodlot.
